I couldn't agree more with this. If not for Dennis keeping this forum going I would have given up on Catamount.

I will always wonder who the mystery person was who graciously paid for the annual renewal of this site so that this community and its legendary product could survive. Hardy's widow? Eric? Romad?

Do you mind my asking how you use the Backup file? i.e. how do you import it to another device?
Thanks in advance.

The backup file is a SQLite database. If you want to use the data with another application, the best thing to do would be to export in a format the other app can read (QIF, QFX, CSV).

If you want to share the backup file across PocketMoney installations, that's possible but you're better off using some type of sync method. Either PocketMoney Desktop, or the Sync Server in-app purchase.

Just adding onto the sync queries... Is the sync via iCloud in the app still working? Been trying to sync (backup) my main data on my iPhone 6s via iCloud and when I try to restore the data on my iPad mini 2... The data doesn't seem to go through...

Been having exactly the same experience. The really weird thing is.... I persevered & eventually the sync worked & has subsequently worked ever since..... iPad mini (1st gen) iPhone 6s
